Which Comes First: The Thumbnail or the Toy Box?

Every Toy Box creator knows the moment: you stare at a blank canvas with unlimited possibilities, waiting for that spark. But where does inspiration truly begin? Does the vision start with a striking image in your mind—a perfect thumbnail—or does it grow organically block by block as you build? Where Does the True Inspiration Lie? There is no wrong entry point into the Toy Box. A stunning concept image can motivate you to learn complex building techniques, while a late-night tinkering session can yield a surprise masterpiece deserving of the ultimate showcase thumbnail. What sparks your creativity? Do you paint the poster before directing the movie, or do you let the adventure unfold one placement at a time? For the thumbnail you see here I never build a toybox, well to be honest not really! The Bow-Tie Guy

What Is The Crew Working On?

Now that the website is beginning to open up to the public, we thought we'd let you know what we've each been up to. This is just a snapshot, a brief look behind the scenes at what's been keeping us busy. We will each be sharing more individually in the future, but for now, here's what we're excited to be working on. JKG: I recently finished my "Crait: Galactic Assault" toybox based on gameplay from Battlefront II. Once sharing goes live on the site, this toybox, as well as my "Jedi Survivor: Chamber of Clarity" toybox, will be available for download for the first time ever. Currently, I am in the process of working on a build of Dantooine from one of my all-time favorite games, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I'm excited to be sharing more details soon! All Night Gaming: I'm excited to share some new builds I was working on for the past several weeks. The first is The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. BOOM which is played out over several Toy Boxes inspired by multiple scenes in the Guardians movies. I also just finished a 3 box set for Outlaws and Heroes which is a sci fi collection. Volumes 1, 2, and 3. You will want to play them in order for continuity. I've also recreated two more Toy Boxes made by Professor Toy Box! We now have the Ratatouille Kitchen and Plinko added to the Danville Adventures and Magic Kingdom Toy Boxes. I am playing and reviewing Toy Boxes regularly on my channel so be sure to check them out if you want to see some game play and a brief recap. I limit spoilers as much as possible.

The Site Is Starting to Come to Life!

The wait is finally starting to pay off! After plenty of work behind the scenes, The Toy Box Crew website is beginning to make some serious progress. For a little while, things may have seemed unusually quiet around here. But make no mistake—a lot has been happening behind the scenes. Keep checking back for the latest updates, new content, and new features as we continue building The Toy Box Crew. The website is starting to come alive .... And we're just getting started.

First Look at the New Site

https://youtu.be/Mu5wiVUKdcg?si=JypD9FR_GMF5XABI
The moment a lot of you have been waiting for is finally here. After weeks of teasing, planning, and behind-the-scenes work, the Toy Box Crew is pulling back the curtain for the very first time and showing off the new website itself. This is the place all those Toy Boxes, remasters, and creator projects have been building toward. Seeing it come to life is a pretty special moment. Give it a watch, this is what all the hard work has been leading to.

The First Annual Disney Infinity Conference

Central Florida became the meeting place for Disney Infinity creators from around the world as we celebrated our first Annual Disney Infinity Conference. Sometimes, the best moments are the ones you never could have planned. This year, creators from across the globe came together in Central Florida for a very special gathering: the first Annual Disney Infinity Conference. What began as an opportunity to bring members of our community together quickly became a truly magical experience filled with creativity, conversation, friendship, and, of course, a little Disney magic. The Animal Kingdom Lodge served as the perfect setting for our gathering as Poppa H and his family, along with Mity, JKG, and All Night Gaming, came together to celebrate everything that makes the Disney Infinity community so special. Building the Future of Disney Infinity While the location certainly provided plenty of distractions, the conference had an important purpose beyond simply getting together. Creators shared ideas and discussed upcoming plans for Toy Box builds, future community events, and projects that will help continue growing the Disney Infinity community. It was also an opportunity to exchange best practices, talk about the creative process, and learn from one another. One of the greatest strengths of the Disney Infinity community has always been its willingness to share ideas and encourage creativity. Bringing creators together in person gave everyone an opportunity to take those conversations to another level. From upcoming Toy Box concepts to future events, there was plenty to talk about—and plenty more still to come. A Meal to Remember Of course, no Disney gathering would be complete without some great food and even better company. After an amazing meal, the group took the opportunity to explore the Animal Kingdom Lodge. That's when the conference became less like a traditional meeting and more like a Disney adventure. The group was able to get up close with giraffes and zebras, taking in the incredible atmosphere of the resort's savanna. And then came one of those moments that is almost impossible to put into words. We even stood next to a lion! You really had to be there. More Than a Conference What made this gathering special wasn't simply the discussions or the location. It was the opportunity to bring people together who share a genuine passion for Disney Infinity and the creative possibilities the game continues to offer. Online communities can connect people from thousands of miles apart, but there's something different about sitting across the table from someone you've worked with, created with, or shared ideas with for years. The first Annual Disney Infinity Conference proved that this community is about much more than Toy Boxes. It's about the people behind the creations. And This Is Just the Beginning By the time the gathering came to an end, one thing was already clear: we're going to have to do this again. Conversations are already underway about future gatherings—including the possibility of taking the conference international as we continue looking for new ways to bring creators together. The first Annual Disney Infinity Conference was a milestone, but it wasn't the destination. It was the beginning of something bigger. As we continue building, creating, sharing, and imagining what's possible, we're excited to see where this community can go next. The future of Disney Infinity is being built one Toy Box at a time—and now, we're building it together. Here's to the next gathering, the next adventure, and the next chapter. We'll see you there.

The Rebuild has started

We been buying Buildings, Installing Network Communications, buying our own Servers and this is just the beginning ...

Rise of the Resistance, Reimagined in Toy Box Form

https://youtu.be/bcKh3AGaSp4?si=bhhFsTlaulvPq2VC
Three months in the making, and it shows. Poppa H set out to recreate Galaxy's Edge's Rise of the Resistance inside Disney Infinity, and as far as anyone can tell, this is a first for the game. Still getting a few final tweaks here and there, but what's already there is genuinely impressive, a real testament to what's possible when a builder refuses to cut corners. This remastered Toy Box will be downloadable on the new website soon. A galaxy far, far away has never felt closer.

A Trip to Xavier's School

https://youtu.be/WZpoyiJA124?si=OzLIhVIiHW20_kMq
Poppa H is heading into Marvel territory with this remaster, and it's something truly special. This freshly remastered X-Men Toy Box takes you straight to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, and it's built with the kind of care that turns a simple visit into a full adventure. It'll be downloadable on the new website soon, so get ready to suit up. Sit back, enjoy the spectacle, and as Poppa H would say, go destroy that like button.

The Tower Climb You've Been Promised

https://youtu.be/oZCYdph4o6I?si=ZhOLjJgMG5dHJLLa
ThatBrownBat keeps pushing the Coruscant build forward, and this time it comes with a promise kept. This WIP showcase dives into the Coruscant Tower Climb Challenge, built with Disney Infinity and the Brown Bat Mod series 3, and features the "A New Hope" theme playing over the Coruscant traffic sequences, exactly as promised in an earlier video.

Get ready for a piece of Disney Infinity history!

http://youtube.com/post/UgkxO0Fv9PRBA2pSLuam5XPVFPqEc99ly2JP?si=c8UWzKIRSx9MWjfS
From The Bow-Tie Guy: I am so excited to finally show off a long-lost piece of the game that almost no one got to experience. Originally, this exclusive Disney Dream Toybox could only be unlocked and played by physically tapping the Oceaneer Band from the Disney Dream Cruise line into the Infinity Base. This forgotten Toybox has been fully restored and recreated using Disney Infinity 3.0 mechanics—making it accessible for everyone to see and enjoy as soon as “THE TOYBOX CREW”website is up and running! This massive 10-level experience includes: • Disney Dream Cruise Hub • Disney Dream Cruise INterior • Disney Dream Cruise Top Deck • Disney Dream Cruise Port Canaveral • Disney Dream Cruise Castaway Cay Jungle Cruise • Disney Dream Cruise Atlantis: Echoes of the Deep • Disney Dream Cruise Nassau Bahamas • Disney Dream Cruise Castaway Cay Beach Fun • Disney Dream Cruise Mickey and the Sands of Fate • Disney Dream Cruise Mickey and the Final Frontier

Naboo Is Back, and Better Than Ever

https://youtu.be/I9eADQXfLvs?si=WTRgzH4zoDE00eP-
A May the 4th classic is getting a second life Poppa H's original Defending Naboo Toy Box, first built for Disney Infinity's May 4th 2024 celebration, has been remastered and polished up for its return, and soon it'll be downloadable for everyone to enjoy. There's something fitting about revisiting a Star Wars build like this. Old favorites deserve a comeback too, and this one's coming back sharper than before.

Episode 2: Slam Dunk Edition

https://youtu.be/7iVTdUClWto?si=2q1MaKdarFvlhghq
INcredible Creations is back for round two, and this time LiontHD steps into the hot seat. Same challenge as always: one hour, one template, and a Toy Box built from scratch. This time around, All Night Gaming and LiontHD teamed up to create a full basketball game, sharing plenty of useful tips and tricks along the way. The whole point of this series keeps proving itself out, building doesn't have to take weeks, and watching two creators bounce ideas off each other in real time is honestly half the fun. If you've ever thought about building your own Toy Box but weren't sure where to start, this series is basically a masterclass in disguise.

The Endgame Begins

https://youtu.be/JcsbzL3ONGs?si=4frN81Gnqbx16_nB
D23 may have let Disney Infinity down, but this community never did. This one's a big deal. A full showcase of Toy Boxes that will soon be downloadable, paired with a real, honest talk about the project as a whole, where it stands, how far it's come, and where it's headed next. And then there's the number everyone's going to be talking about: over 2,000 Toy Boxes are officially planned for launch. Read that again. Two thousand. This isn't a small comeback. This is the Toybox Sharing Endgame, and it's finally here.

Coruscant Gets the Brown Bat Treatment

https://youtu.be/s3h7oOnghus?si=vrvy5jR6-W14PaJT
ThatBrownBat is deep in Star Wars territory with this one, and the progress is impressive. This showcase covers where things currently stand with both the Death Star trench run and the Coruscant urban districts, two ambitious builds brought to life using Disney Infinity 3.0 alongside the Brown Bat Mod, version 3.0, which is still very much in active development. Seeing those dense, layered Coruscant cityscapes take shape inside Disney Infinity is genuinely exciting, and it's a great look at just how far the modding side of this community keeps pushing what's possible. Still a work in progress on the mod front, but the results so far speak for themselves.

SPONTANEOUS BUILD ALERT!

http://youtube.com/post/UgkxG7p1MlGtVYuX1xN1zw9F91diFg5rHKjV?si=v5uOY7j8tQ5fUTG-
From The Bow-Tie Guy: Another late-night idea just struck, and now I can't unsee it: I’m rebuilding the Titanic in Disney Infinity! It came out of nowhere, but the vision is set—grand staircases, massive decks, and bringing this massive ship to life. THE CATCH? This is going to be a huge long-term project. To get the proportions right and make the scale feel authentic, I’m using the Path Creator to align and structure everything brick by brick. It’s tedious work, but it’s the only way to do it justice! THE SPARK: I stumbled upon a classic video from 9 years ago by Jim Hershey that inspired me, and now I’m determined to build my own version from scratch. THE BIG QUESTION: Who should captain this voyage—Jack Sparrow or Mickey Mouse? (And should Elsa strictly be banned from iceberg duty?)

NEW TOY BOX CONCEPT ALERT!

http://youtube.com/post/UgkxUsvBeSGh09YptZ3__oWBH234MhnfRZzK?si=j9T17fc9EjDj8uOc
From The Bow-Tie Guy: Late-night inspiration hit me again, and this time we're taking to the skies! Inspired by the new Avatar: Aang animated film, I'm working on a brand-new build: “AVATAR - Saving the four nations”.

Long Live the King!!

https://youtu.be/N6rLOCPKI_s?si=q120B2061D1BTRIm
Funnyjack's latest build brings Scar into Disney Infinity 3.0 for a proper showdown, and this one's already locked and loaded for launch. No more work-in-progress teasers this time, this Toy Box is ready to go the moment the site is live. Between Ursula and Scar, it's shaping up to be a rough month for Disney villains. We're not complaining.

The Legendary Peter Pan London Toy Box Returns!

http://youtube.com/post/UgkxIoxgIYzDpNtxaimDxA272t1EAzZGBcTl?si=i7PuMNKNuYlOwiT7
From The Bow-Tie Guy: Some Toy Boxes are just too good to stay lost in the vault. For a long time, the original Peter Pan London build was completely gone and unavailable to the community—no one had it for download anymore. That’s why it was an absolute joy for me to recreate this iconic Toy Box from scratch! A massive shout-out to ‪@CCRunner524‬ and SwiftGuy12 for creating such an incredible, legendary build in the first place—their work was the ultimate inspiration here. Once I got started bringing it back to life, I couldn't stop at the London skyline. To complete the journey, this upcoming release will also feature my own custom interior build of the Darling House nursery, along with a full Neverland Toy Box experience. The entire collection will finally be available for download soon to celebrate the official launch of the new Toy Box Crew website. Get ready for takeoff!

A Community Steps Up

https://youtu.be/6afuee2d8bU?si=2FVNV7qDzESlTC_n
Infiniteering Adventures dropped a big one today, breaking down exactly what's been happening with fans leading the charge to bring Toy Box Sharing back. The video goes deep into the project itself, its scale, and the growing lineup of members putting in the work behind it. It's a solid look at just how far this has come, from a handful of creators refusing to give up, to a full-fledged initiative with real momentum behind it. If you've been wondering just how big this thing has gotten, this is the video that lays it all out.

Ursula Awaits!

https://youtu.be/geYDrXMuW08?si=9ACYHkwvEN6J40Gw
Funnyjack's had a busy day, and he's not slowing down. This time it's an epic boss showdown against Ursula, built inside Disney Infinity 3.0. Expect all the drama and scale a fight against the Sea Witch deserves, brought to life with the kind of creativity that's become a trademark of Funnyjack's builds. Still a work in progress, but it's already looking like a battle worth waiting for.

Spiral Mountain, Reimagined

https://youtu.be/khJ3CukTQAQ?si=zTKC4_Y9Oe39_Wdj
Funnyjack is stepping outside the Disney universe for this one, and the crossover works surprisingly well. This is an early work-in-progress look at his recreation of Spiral Mountain, the iconic hub world from Banjo Kazooie, rebuilt inside Disney Infinity 3.0. It's still early days on this build, but the shape of it is already unmistakable for anyone who grew up exploring that world. Nothing quite like seeing a beloved classic take on a whole new life. Keep an eye on this one, it's shaping up nicely.

One Hour, One Toy Box, Endless Possibilities

https://www.youtube.com/live/6aK6PkjMw_Y?si=dXuJr_W-keBmsmaM
All Night Gaming just launched a brand new format, and it's a fun one. INcredible Creations kicks off with Episode 1, teaming up All Night Gaming and The Bow-Tie Guy for a simple but exciting challenge: build a Toy Box in just one hour, starting from a template. No overthinking, no months of planning, just pure creative speed-building. The result was a battle box packed with clever tricks and techniques picked up along the way, the kind of stuff that's genuinely useful whether you're a first-time builder or a Toy Box veteran. The whole idea behind the series is simple: show people that building doesn't have to be intimidating, and hopefully inspire even more of you to jump in and start creating. Give it a watch, you might just walk away with a few new tricks of your own.

Faces of the Crew

https://youtu.be/cs8Vzzg4RCk?si=xOsEQ5zl5Jd4hWMI
LiontHD just gave the community something it's been waiting for: a proper look at the people behind the Toy Box Crew. Every build, every idea, every late night of planning has a name and a face behind it, and now you finally get to see them all in one place. It's a small thing, but it makes everything feel a lot more real. Go check it out and get to know the people building your next favorite Toy Box

The Logo and the First Prototype

https://youtu.be/oZHbs4bJoNQ?si=jghZ8-Tb2hJrl_Q3
First, the official Toy Box Crew logo makes its debut, giving this whole initiative a face of its own. Then comes the part everyone's been waiting for: news on the website's progress, capped off with a first look at the prototype in action. Seeing it come together like this, logo and all, makes one thing pretty clear: this is happening.

Donald's Classic Race Returns

https://youtu.be/oHI_oBRJlzo?si=otatMUS9bmevk3hm
Some Toy Boxes deserve a second life, and Donald Duck's OJ Race is one of them. This one goes way back. Originally built by the Disney Infinity dev team to tie into a Donald Duck Orange Juice promotion, the Toy Box even had its moment featured right on OJ cartons for the Disney Infinity 2.0 launch, and Disney made it available as a free download at the time. Now it's getting recreated for a whole new generation of players to enjoy. Expect a fun, twisty race through and around Donald Duck's OJ farm, full of the kind of challenge that made the original such a fan favorite. A little slice of Disney Infinity history, rebuilt and ready to race again.

A Look Behind the Curtain

https://youtu.be/V8E1pLQNMb8?si=AN_p1VQQfeYWKzEF
Time for an update, straight from the people doing the work. A group of Disney Infinity Creators has been pouring hours into building something the whole community can be part of, and this video pulls back the curtain on all that hard work. The goal has never changed: a friendly, welcoming space for Toy Box Sharing, built by creators, for creators. And here's the best part: it's all going to be completely FREE. We're genuinely excited about where this is heading. Give it a watch and see for yourself.

Behind Closed Doors

Not every update is about Toy Boxes. Sometimes it's the boring stuff that matters just as much. The Crew got together for a meeting covering the current state of the website, backend progress, server acquisition, and yes, even logo creation. Lots of technical talk, lots of decisions being made, and a whole lot of pieces slowly coming together behind the scenes. Nothing flashy today, just the groundwork that makes everything else possible. More to come soon.

A Surprise Waiting for Launch

Funnyjack has been working on something... and he's not saying much about it. Just that it's a surprise, it's a Toy Box, and it's ready to go the moment the site launches. We don't know what it is yet either. But if his past builds are any indication, this one's worth the wait. Stay tuned.

Playset Models, Mods, and a Goldilocks Situation

https://youtu.be/Y8LO2soY-n8?si=WFvunb0MEp2Cvt2X
ThatBrownBat is back with a deep dive into the modding side of Disney Infinity, and this one's got a bit of everything. In this showcase, three in-game playset models get pulled into the BB mod, but not all of them survive the cut. Two get the axe, not because they're bad, but because their sheer size leaves them with zero gameplay functionality. Sometimes big just isn't practical. From there, it's on to a lineup of replacement mods, and things don't exactly go according to plan. Two turn out completely useless, one lands somewhere in the so-so zone, another gets close to good, and the last one nails it. Basically the Goldilocks and the Three Bears of modding: too big, too useless, too meh, and finally, just right. Add in some Death Star conduit rankings for good measure, and you've got a solid look at the technical side of what makes these builds tick.

Frog On the Run! By All Night Gaming

https://youtu.be/nn8Zpc04iz8?si=wwfA-hrwwghhAIxD
All Night Gaming is back at it again, and this time things have gone a little off the rails, in the best possible way. Frog On the Run! brings a Muppet-flavored adventure to Disney Infinity, and something's not right with Kermit. He's gone off the deep end, and it's up to you to figure out what happened and set things right, all while exploring the streets of Sesame Street along the way. This build will be downloadable right at launch, so you won't have to wait long to jump in and help our favorite frog out of whatever mess he's found himself in. It's not easy being green, apparently.

First Simpsons toybox in Disney Infinity!

https://youtu.be/CKnwUeVcbO8?si=v2uCq6NbksGMwBIT
All Night Gaming is doing something that's never been done before in Disney Infinity, bringing Springfield itself into the game. Say hello to Bart Saves the World, the very first Simpsons Toy Box ever built for Disney Infinity. This one's a full city, not just a scene or two. Explore the streets, the landmarks, and all the chaos that comes with living in Springfield, brought to life in true Toy Box fashion. Best part? This build will be downloadable right at launch, so it'll be one of the very first things waiting for you when the site goes live. D'oh, we mean, wow.

Mity287 Brings His Whole Collection

https://www.youtube.com/@mity287/featured
Mity287 just made a huge move for the Crew, sharing a whole library of his Toy Boxes that will soon be downloadable right here on the new website. And he didn't just hand them over as-is, he went back and remastered every single one, polishing the details to make sure each build offers the best experience possible. That's not a small task. That's hours of revisiting old work with fresh eyes just to make it better for everyone who plays it. And this is just the start. More Toy Boxes from Mity287 are already on the way, so keep watching this space.

The Wait Is Almost Over

https://youtu.be/VZ7Yp8eJiSM?si=MyXlC_vmasVRzhEO
Something big is coming, and now you can finally see it for yourself. The Disney Infinity Ultimate Hub is officially on its way. Everything the Crew has been building behind the scenes, all the late nights, the servers, the planning, the Toy Boxes waiting to be shared, it all leads here. This is the moment where "coming soon" starts to feel very real. Grab some popcorn and hit play. The future of Disney Infinity is closer than you think.

Aladdin in Nasira's Revenge - NEWS

https://youtu.be/6F4eg16-M-w?si=e_eZGXTkAinJeY02
Funnyjack is back with another chapter of his Aladdin in Nasira's Revenge recreation, and Agrabah just got even bigger. Watch it here: https://youtu.be/6F4eg16-M-w?si=e_eZGXTkAinJeY02 This Disney Infinity 3.0 build continues bringing the classic PS1 adventure to life, block by block, level by level, capturing all the charm of Aladdin's world with a Toy Box twist. It's a project that clearly takes patience and love for the source material, and this second update proves Funnyjack isn't slowing down. This Toy Box will also be available on the site once sharing goes live, so keep an eye out for it. A whole new world, indeed.

Crait Comes To Life by JKG

https://youtu.be/5Aoyil-5Wco?si=HnuFr-LetKtqZxHw
The first new Toy Box built for the new site is here, and JKG went straight for the good stuff. - Watch it here: Click on the link in blue Crait: Galactic Assault brings the iconic Battlefront II game mode to life inside Disney Infinity, recreating the salt-crusted planet down to all three phases of battle. Grab a friend or fly solo with 1-2 players, pick your side between the Resistance and the First Order, and fight it out from destroying the Walkers, to capturing the Mine Hangar, to taking down the Power Consoles. Ski Speeders, TIE Fighters, AT-STs, and a full arsenal of weapons are all in play, so whichever side you choose, come ready for a fight. As JKG puts it: "They've got might. We've got ingenuity and each other." This is the very first Toy Box that will be available for download once sharing goes live on the site, and if this is the bar being set, the future is looking very good for Toy Box builders everywhere.

Out Loud For The First Time

https://youtu.be/hr7X2QCP-Jc?si=Ns0OIJdU9cDpo-oU
One day after that first PlayStation chat, 72Pringle went public. Watch it here: Check the link at the top of this news article. Some people thought shutting down one place would stop a community. They were wrong. Disney Infinity has always been about creativity, collaboration, and sharing incredible Toy Boxes with players around the world, and that spirit can't be deleted. We'd been quietly working behind the scenes on something new, something built by the community, for the community, and this was the first time anyone said it out loud. If you love Disney Infinity, keep watching this space, because the next chapter is about to begin. Nobody watching that video knew yet what the Toy Box Crew would become. But the cat was out of the bag, and there was no going back now.

First day of The Toybox Crew

Every great story has a first chapter. This one starts with a Discord server disappearing... and a community refusing to let that be the end. When the server was deleted, it could have been the end of Toybox Sharing altogether. Instead, it became the spark. @InfiniteerAdventures, @ThatBrownBat, @72Pringle, @funnyjack4162, @LiontHD, @Poppa-H, @AllNightGaming1, @THEBOWTIEGUY, @mity287, and @JKGToyboxes came together with one shared mission: bring Disney Infinity Toybox Sharing back—on PC, PlayStation 4/5, and Xbox—for good this time. No corporate backing. No official support. Just a group of creators who weren't ready to let go. THE FIRST MEETING: It happened in a PlayStation chat, of all places. Ten creators, one screen, and a whole lot of ideas flying around. Plans were sketched out, methods debated, visions shared. Everyone brought something different to the table, but the goal was the same for all of us: build something that would give this community the Toybox Sharing experience it deserved. Nobody in that chat knew exactly where this would lead. But looking back now, it's clear—this was the moment everything started. From a deleted server to a shared vision. From a chat to a Crew. This is just Day One. Buckle up.
